Polyester Testnet supports deposits of assets from supported blockchains’ own test networks. These assets let you test the deposit process from the source chain into Polyester.
Testnet assets are different from the paper funds created by the Polyester team for paper trading competitions and giveaways. Paper funds are minted through a smart contract and can be created in unlimited amounts, allowing the team to distribute more or replace funds lost during trading.
Source-chain testnet assets are issued on their respective networks, such as Bitcoin Testnet. Depending on the network, they may need to be mined or obtained through third-party faucets. Polyester does not control their supply or availability. Depositing these assets lets you test the actual source-chain integration.
