# Balances

See every Asset in your Unified Trading and Funding balances, with available, reserved, and total amounts.

**The Balances widget shows every Asset in the selected Main Account or Subaccount, without leaving the Trading Screen.** On the Standard layout, it is a tab beside Open Orders. On Advanced, add it from the widget catalog.

Use [Funds](https://testnet.polyester.com/docs/user-docs/trade/widgets/funds) when you only need the two Assets in the active Pair.

## What the widget shows

The **Unified Trading** and **Funding** tabs split your balances by where they are held.

| Column    | What it means                                                  |
| --------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Available | Trading balance that can support a new order or transfer       |
| Reserved  | Trading balance held for orders, triggers, or pending activity |
| Total     | Trading balance before reservations are subtracted             |
| Equity    | The balance's value                                            |

The **Actions** column links to **Deposit**, **Withdraw**, and **Transfer** for each Asset. An accepted order can lower Available before any fill occurs, because a reservation is a hold rather than a spend.
